Telehealth-only therapy for adults in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

A neuroaffirming, safe space to unmask

A therapist in a warm, neuroaffirming office setting

You’ve spent a long time learning how to mask, read the room, and make yourself easier for other people. This is a space where you don’t have to do that.

As an AuDHD therapist, I work with neurodivergent adults across Massachusetts and Rhode Island who are tired of feeling like they’re “too much,” “too sensitive,” or “not trying hard enough” in a world that wasn’t built for them.

Together, we make sense of your patterns, your needs, and your nervous system so you can move through life with more ease and self-compassion.

About Shelby

Shelby Fontaine, LICSW (she/her)
AuDHD & neurodiversity-affirming therapist
Supporting late-identified autistic adults, autistic burnout, and executive functioning challenges

I’m Shelby, a clinical social worker and AuDHD therapist. I created Unmasked Mind Therapy as a space where autistic and other neurodivergent adults don’t have to perform, translate, or apologize for how their brain works. In our work together, we honor your sensory needs, unlearn harmful messages about “too much” or “too sensitive,” and explore what it means to build a life that fits you, rather than forcing yourself to fit a world that wasn’t designed with you in mind.

Ready to get started?

We invite neurodivergent adults to connect with us and explore a supportive path toward empowerment and self-compassion.
